YogaCita is also home to an in-house infrared sauna which is available for session bookings. Saunas can help you to relax and improve your overall health & wellbeing.
Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas also known as FAR Infrared light therapy, doesn’t heat the air around you, instead using infrared lamps that warm the body directly.
Using an infrared sauna for just 30 mins will burn at least 300 calories, improve your circulation, decrease your blood pressure and even lower cholesterol levels.

What do I wear in the sauna?
You can wear a bathing suit, underwear or nothing at all.
Is the infrared private?
Yes! The room is completely private and removed from our main studio space.
How should I prepare for my infrared sauna experience?
As the body loses water when sweating, you want to make sure to rehydrate! Please come to each session well-hydrated.
Drinking water is available in the sauna room.
Two clean towels are provided for your use.
Who cannot use the infrared suana?
Infrared Sauna use is not recommended for people who are pregnant, children under 12, those who cannot handle temperature extremes, those with hemophila, fever, insensitivity to heat, and those under the influence of alcohol or who abuse alcohol.
Is it clean?
Very much so.! Our saunas are sanitized after each use. Infrared light also kills all bacteria and any airborne germs.
